How to Pull Affiliate Constituents Lists in Personify - Including Members, Non-Members, ODs, non-ODs, and Students

Access Campaign Target Audience Lists, Including Members and Non-members; ODs, non-ODs, and Students

Acquisition Campaign Note: Prior to each communications effort, you will want to pull and use an updated send list, so that you filter out any new members that have joined from previous efforts.

To pull your campaign target list, follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to/open Personify

Step 2: Choose Open Data Analyzer

Step 3: Choose the Documents tab

Step 4: Click Folders in the left-hand navigation

Step 5: Drill down by double clicking Public Folders > AOA > Affiliate Shared > Membership, then Open the Constituent Report-Primary Address report.

Step 7: Download/Export the file.

Step 8: Click the “File Type” (in most cases, an Excel file works best)drop down to save to your preferred location.

Step 9: (Optional). Depending on the use case, use filtering options within Excel to drill down to the best list for your needs.

  • Grad YearThe most useful filter. Only optometry school grads and OD students have a grad year - this field is blank for non-ODslike paras. Use it to quickly ID your doctors of optometry and/or student audiences.

  • For OD acquisition campaigns: Excluding students is critical for acquisition campaigns. To ensure students are excluded and new grads included, the filter should be applied differently based on the time of year you pull it.

  • If it is before June, use [current year] or earlier to identify all graduated ODs.

  • If it is after June, you will use [next year] or earlier to identify all graduated ODs.

  • Current MemberMember or Not Member

  • For OD acquisition campaignsSelect Not Member

  • Birth Date (Year)

  • For OD acquisition campaigns< [Current year] – 65 (removes constituents 65 years of age & older)
